Tate Gallery Visit
GCSE Fine Art and Photography Year 11 Students visited the Tate Modern, London on Wednesday 20th January. This was an exciting day out, where students viewed famous artworks in a world renowned art gallery surrounded by iconic architecture.
Students collected invaluable information for their exam project and were able to see artworks in context such as the 'Weeping Woman' by Pablo Picasso. The weather was perfect and students captured spectacular views of iconic architecture such as the Millennium bridge and St. Paul's cathedral for further inspiration. Some students even captured a selfie with a celebrity! Look out for this inspiration in students' future masterpieces which will be on display in the summer term.
